Journal #17: WikiJournal.

A techer in Sudan was put in jail after naming her class teddy bear Muhammad. The school is a privet school mixed with different religions, but high with Muslim's students. She will either get six months imprisonment or 40 lashes. Family of the students want her out of the school and want her to have nothing to do with teaching students at the school. It's just crazy how some one of her status of being a teacher, and to know that she is teaching in the Middle East to make a mistake like the one she made. She sould have known what she was getting into when she first asked the students what should we name our teddy bear. Lady has some guts to do something like that knowing what kind of name Muhammad means to the Muslim people.

Journal #16: Free write.

Well today was a very not sad day but it was bring me down some. I just kept thinkin about my family back home and wanted to be back on the reservation with family. I really wish there was an easy way to make it in this life. The main problem I have is money. I mean just think if money did not play such an important role in our lives, and how much easier life would be with out it. I don't know I guess I just want to be back home, or in other words I'm home sick. I'll get though this just like any other day. Have a good one to who ever reads this.

Journal #15: AZ Central.

Tiffany Lee Hecker had a baby early this year in Jan. and was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of second-degree murder and child abuse. She had her baby in her bathroom toilet. After putting the new born into the water and letting him die. She told her mother she had a baby and that the baby was dead. Her mother told her to put the baby in a trash bag and put him in a trash can. But Hecter just put the baby in the trunk of the family car. With this kind of news it's sad to hear and it just makes you think what kind of people are out there that would do this to a new born. It's really sad to hear something like this.

Journal #14: Write about a plan you came up with recently.

Recently I came up with a way to get all my taskes done before I go out for my Friday and Saturday nights. After getting a dog just recently I have been really busy, and I all my time has been taken up by my dog. So after I get off work I just get everything done as fast as I can, and with the rest of my time before I go out I spend with my dog. Not much of a plan, but it works for me.

Journal #13: Write about your favorite commercial.

It has to be the one about a car, and I don't not know exactly what type of car it is, funny huh. A group of guys come running out of a bank they just robbed, and their get a way car is in front of the bank. Also, as they were getting into the car some money fall out, and the money is all around the car. About four or three cop cars come and the police just go running in the bank. While these guys who just robbed the bank, and their just sitting in the car with their hands up in the air. The cops just run right pass them, and they just drive off slowly and get a way. Just when they get a way the cops come running out, and the commercial is over. I do not know why this is funny, but I laugh every time I see. So as of right now is one of my favorit commercials.

Journal #12: AZ Central.

An Arizona study of traffic stops found new evidence of racial-profiling by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Researchers cautioned that other factors may explain the high rate of arrests and vehicle searches involving minorities. In 2006 the University of Cincinnati report, Highway Patrol officers were more than twice as likely to search vehicles driven by Hispanics and Blacks than those operated by Anglos. I know this is wrong in number of ways, and while I was reading this I couldn't help but think of what Kanye West said in one of his raps, "Racism still alive they just be concealing it." Just something to think about.

Journal #11: What is the most spectacular place you have ever seen?

The most spectacular place I've seen would have to be the reservation I'm from. I've seen how Chicago and San Diego look, and both places are nice in there own ways but I love my home land. It's just the way the landscape is what makes me think it's so beautiful. The main town that is close is about seven miles away, so you know you can see the stars at night and the land is so peaceful. I would like to travel to see other places to see if there is another place more beautiful than where Im from, but untill then I would have to say where Im from is the most beautiful place there is.

The New Demoracy was created in October 4, 1974 two months after Constantine Karamanlis was sworn in as the first Prime Minister. Is the main center-right political party in Greece. After an initial period of success, New Demoracy spent most of the 1980s and 1990s in opposition. On September 16, 2007, Costas Karamanlis won re-election with a diminished majority in parliament, and stated:"Thank you for your trust. You have spoken loud and clear and chosen the course the country will take in the next few years."

Journal #8: How’s it going so far in this course?

Well this class is fun and I know how fun it can be, because I took this class in the summer of 2006. The teacher overall is a good teacher and she does want to help her students pass her class. As of right now, I'm enjoying the classand it's good and fun. I really got no bad points to put out there about this class.

Journal #7: Something I noticed about myself today.

When I woke up this morning,I just wanted to lay in bed all day. I was deep in my thoughts. Just thinking about being back on the rez, back home. Where I feel free and feel my bliss. As I was thinking I was thinking about why im here in Phoenix, and not at home. Then it came to me, like understanding a dream the next day, that I was doing my schooling for my family back home. So today I noticed I was more helpful, becuase of my thoughts in the morning.

Journal #6: AZ Central current event journal.

A NFL player from the team the Buffalo Bills, Kevin Evertt, was playing in a game and made a tackle useing his head. This was a mistake in takling, because he used his head as his main source of pressure from the tackle by using his head, not the way to takle someone. While in the hospital he made movement and showed signs of walking again. Doctors say, "It's not unrealistic that he will walk out of the hospital."

Journal #5: Wiki Journal: My comments about what I learned.

The article that was just out of the norm was an article about Art. I know everyone want's to read the articles about the war on the other side of the world from us, the deaths that just may have happen, the worst weather to hit any where, and the other countries propblems. When I was reading the article Art comes from the Latin word ars, which means "arrangement." Art can comes in different types of form such as: writing, poetry, dance, acting or drama, film, music, sculpture, photography, illustration, architecture, collage, painting and fashion. I think art came bring people together and really get our minds off the problems were dealing with in our indivial lives.

Journal #4: Would you like to be famous?

Yeah, I would most definitely like to be famous. I really think being in the lime light can do more than people really imagine. If I was famous I would use my riches to help my people and give back to my Native community. Alwas wanting to help, that's the person I'am especially when it come to my Native people. I'm not saying famous people now and days do not help, it's just we still need help dealing with the struggle.

Journal #3: Write about a time someone dared you to do something.

There was this one time when someone dared me to take a snowboard at the local flea market. This was back in my hometown Gallup, because you know it does not snow here in Arizona. So, I did take the snowboard and solded it for thirty dollars. The only thing I regret was everytime I would go back the same man would keep on bugging me, and I played it off like it wasn't me. I beileve he moved back to where ever he was from because after a couple of weeks I never saw him again.

Journal #2: What are your strongest communication skills?

My strongest communication skill is my voice, I believe so. When I do youth conferences I do like to believe I'm reaching out and touching someone mentally. I love talking to people and meeting new people. A lot of my close friends and family members say I'm the Native American Chris Tucker. Just because in most of his movies he does a funny role and always seem to be talking a lot. So, I guess some times I talk to much, but understand I know how to listen as well. There's my other, if not strongest point of communication, is my listening skills. People love just to have someone listen to them for a change, and I do like helping people though their problems and all.

Journal #1: What's your real world goals.

My name is Kevin Begay and im Native American, Dine to be exact. My real goals are to help my Native people in any form. I want to become a foot doctor to help my people fight diabetes. I had family lose their legs due to war and diabetes. I want to become an activest to help my people though the struggle. In all round about, i just want to help my people though any cause, and I'll die for my people. To me that's saying it real than a motha (not mother).
